Marketing for
contractors who’d
rather be on a jobsite.

Your phone should ring. Your inbox should fill with quote requests. Your crews should be booked weeks out — not weeks behind. We build local-first marketing systems for trades businesses across North America that drive real jobs, not Angi leads.

You’re great at the work.
Marketing’s the bottleneck.

You didn’t start your business to manage Google Ads or argue with HomeAdvisor about lead quality. You started it to build, fix, install, and run a crew. But marketing’s the thing that decides whether next month’s calendar is full or empty.

⚠ THE CONTRACTOR’S COMMON STORY

“We were paying $70 a lead on Angi and HomeAdvisor — same lead going to 4 other contractors. Half the time the homeowner ghosted before the quote. It was costing us more than it was making us.

  • Lead-share platforms eating your margin. Angi, HomeAdvisor, Networx — same lead sold 4–8 times. The contractors winning are the ones with their own pipeline.
  • Feast and famine cycles. Booked solid in May, dead in November. Most trades businesses live and die by season — but smart marketing smooths the curve.
  • Invisible on Google Maps. When a homeowner searches “[your service] near me,” do you show up? Probably not above page 1. That’s where 80% of trade jobs originate.
  • A website that doesn’t make the phone ring. Built by a cousin in 2019. Looks fine. But it doesn’t load fast, doesn’t rank, and homeowners bounce before filling the quote form.
  • Tire-kickers, not buyers. Bad lead quality means your sales team (or you) wastes hours on quotes that go nowhere. The fix is upstream — better targeting, better pre-qualification.

Three plays.
Run together.

We’ve worked with enough contractors to know what actually moves the needle. It’s not Instagram reels. It’s not “going viral.” It’s three boring plays, run with discipline, that fill your pipeline.

/ 01 · The phone ringer

Local SEO & Google Maps

When someone searches “roofing contractor near me,” they’re calling the top 3 results. Period. We get you into that map pack — and keep you there — for every service keyword in your service area.

  • Google Business Profile fully optimized
  • Citation building (Yelp, BBB, Houzz, etc.)
  • Service-area landing pages by city
  • Review generation system
  • Schema markup for LocalBusiness
/ 02 · The pipeline filler

Google & Meta ads that book jobs

Targeted ads that pull homeowners with real intent — not the people clicking for fun. We focus on Google Search (high intent) plus Meta retargeting. You own the leads. You own the accounts. We just drive the volume.

  • Google Search for “[service] near me” queries
  • Performance Max for trade-specific inventory
  • Meta retargeting + lookalike audiences
  • Call tracking + form integration
  • Seasonal budget pacing
/ 03 · The quote converter

Conversion-engineered website

A website that turns visitors into quote requests. Fast loading, clearly written, mobile-first — because 70% of your homeowner traffic is on a phone outside on the driveway taking pictures of their roof.

  • Sub-2-second page loads
  • Click-to-call buttons everywhere
  • Quote request forms that work
  • Service area + city-specific pages
  • Real photos of your work, not stock

We’ve worked with your trade.

Different trades have different buyers, different sales cycles, different seasons, and different keywords that matter. We have deep playbooks for roofing, HVAC, and general contractors — and full marketing experience across every other major trade. If your trade isn’t listed, we’ll learn it fast.

Deep playbook

Roofing & siding

Storm-driven and seasonal. Retail vs insurance two-track playbooks, post-storm geo-fencing, and beating the out-of-state chasers.

Deep playbook

HVAC

Emergency calls + planned installs + maintenance plans. Three campaigns running year-round to smooth the curve.

Deep playbook

General contractors

Renovations, additions, and custom builds. Portfolio-led marketing that pre-qualifies buyers at the form stage.

Plumbing

Emergency response is everything. We optimize for “[service] near me” and after-hours availability signals.

Electrical

Residential service, commercial, EV charging — different keywords, different funnels, different LTVs.

Landscaping & lawn

Brutally seasonal. We help you book the spring rush and stay top of mind for fall cleanups and snow contracts.

Painting & finishing

Residential repaints and commercial maintenance. Before/after content drives most of the conversion lift.

Other trades

Concrete, fencing, garage doors, pools, decks — if homeowners search for it, we can market it. Just ask.

Don’t see your trade? We’ve probably worked with it. Send us a note — we’ll tell you straight up if it’s a fit.

Things contractors actually ask us.

The questions we hear most from trade business owners. If yours isn’t here, send it through — we’d rather have an honest 15-minute call than waste your time.

Yes — and most of our trades clients eventually drop those platforms entirely. The math typically works like this: Angi leads cost $50–$100 each and get sold to 4+ contractors. Our average cost per qualified lead for trades clients lands between $15–$40, and the lead is exclusive to you.

It takes 2–4 months to fully replace lead-share spend, since SEO and ad accounts need warming up. Most clients keep Angi running at low spend during the transition, then cut it once the new system is producing reliable volume.

In small markets, paid ads often work better — there’s less competition, lower CPCs, and a smaller audience that’s easier to dominate. We’ve run successful campaigns for trades clients in towns of 25,000 people.

The catch: small markets have lower lead volume ceilings. We’ll tell you upfront what’s realistic so you don’t expect 200 leads/month from a town that has a population of 30K.

Two strategies depending on your trade. For seasonal trades (landscaping, roofing in some climates), we ramp aggressively pre-season and pivot to maintenance/inspection offers in the off-season to keep some cashflow. SEO works year-round so the website keeps generating quote requests when ads are paused.

For year-round trades with seasonal swings (HVAC, plumbing), we shift budget toward emergency-response keywords in winter and planned-install in summer. Same total spend, different campaign mix.

This is the part most agencies skip. We set up call tracking on every campaign source so you can see which Google Ad, which keyword, or which Facebook campaign drove the call. Form submissions get tagged the same way.

If you have a CRM (Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, etc.), we integrate so you can match leads to closed jobs automatically. If you don’t, a simple spreadsheet plus our reporting gives you the full picture.

Paid ads typically start producing qualified calls within 2–3 weeks of launch. Local SEO and Google Maps take 3–6 months to really compound, but you’ll usually see early movement (better positioning, more profile views) within month 2.

Realistic expectation: month 1 is setup and tracking, month 2–3 is paid ads producing leads, month 4–6 is when SEO starts contributing meaningful organic volume.

No. Our trades clients range from full-on tech adopters to “my crew leader still texts me from a flip phone.” We meet you where you are. Most of our communication is via text, email, or phone calls — not Slack or fancy project management tools.

You don’t need to learn Google Ads. You don’t need to update your website. We handle all of it. You just need to answer the phone when it rings and reply to the quote requests when they come in.
